GLAM ROCK DISASTER
Bakehouse Music Studio's Melbourne invited artists to create work for each of their recording rooms. On this project Will Huxley collaborated with his partner Garrett Huxley to create a seven metre photographic mural in a glam rock disaster theme. The project has lead to them collaborating toward future art works with their fictional band, S.O.S (Style Over Substance).
This video art project was created for the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2014. It is a celebration of dance in all its awkward, sublime and fantstic glory. Lovingly pieced together from films and performances that make you laugh, make you cringe and most importantly make you want to get up and dance .
